 HAPPY CANADA DAY!

The other day, I mentioned going to Anthony Walker's house with Discovery Club.  Here are some pics:

Anthony in the red shirt with Deanne in the blue looking on.  The living room

More living room.  Marlise in the red and Judith in front of her enjoying the artifacts

More living room

The dining room that used to be a garage

The amazing library.  Hard to get me out of here

Anthony's office.  Now here is a story:  Walter is from Germany and is 71.  He has married a Sri Lankan woman of 28.  Life is stranger than fiction.  The picture on the top right was taken by Anthony when he was living with the Lahu in northern Thailand.  Lovely little girls.  To the left is a picture of the village.

Lunch on the veranda.  Around the circle from left to right:  Me, Deanne, Yvonne, George, Judith, Marlise

Fabulous length pool hidden at the side of the house.

The garden is dotted with pottery

The Toda who are an Indian people that Anthony studied who raise buffalo.  Hence the horns

My friends Marlise in the red shirt and Yvonne in the peach enjoying lunch

I also mentioned the spinach pie that I had made for the dane on the 26th:

One dangling participle there.  Oh well, it still tastes good
And of course, my adorable Patches who has discovered not only my bed but my pillows.
