Finally got all my will stuff sorted out. So now if I pop my clogs, everything is in order.
Mahjong continues unabated. We have now progressed beyond Goulash into the full game. Only the Chinese or the British could invent a game that is this complicated. We are pretty confused, but having fun.
My friend Claire Hemachandra had her 80th birthday party at the Grand Kandyan. A nice evening, although it was a bit windy on the rooftop.
| Great picture of the birthday girl. She is full of life; swimming every day (she has her own pool), going to every event you can name and always smiling and enthusiastic. Hope I am in her shape at 80. |

| Ana and Sanjee enjoying themselves. |
| We are all wrapped up from the cold. Ha, ha! |
| My friend Yoshitha and a nice friend of her's. |

I have been expanding my plant collection. The lovely people at L'Atelier gave me a cutting of Thunbergia Gloriosa, the blue variety. The Kawasakis gave me a white Thunbergia, a velvet plant and a very unusual coleus.

| Blue Thunbergia |
| White Thunbergia. These are not mine. Mine are still rooting in water. |
| Velvet plant. Both my Mother and I used to nurture these inside our homes in Canada. They grow like a weed here. I just shoved the stem in some soil about a week ago and it has already rooted. |
On the cooking front, I had some beets which I wanted to do something different with. So I made this gluten free chocolate cake with coconut flour and beets.
| The cake covered with chocolate glaze and sprinkled with gold dust. |
The cats continue to delight. Here is a video of Nangi drinking from the kitchen tap. Some of you are going "GROSS". Don't worry, we wash up well after her.
