Yesterday was Nikini Full Moon Poya Day marking the end of the Perahera. The moon was so bright that it outshone the street lamp that is in front of the house. Even with my lousy phone camera, you can see how bright it was.
As I stood outside watching it, huge fruit bats were flying all round. A real vampire of a night.
